SMITH RESIDENCE
The clients requested a French Country Style residence with authentic detailing throughout. The project reflects the formality of a manor house with the more modest scale of a cottage. This is accomplished through massing, careful use of stone, and a richness of detail. The roof is slate with redwood eaves and corbels, the walls are plaster and stone, and the windows and doors are solid mahogany.
